Perspectives on the

World Christian Movement

Current Class: Timberline Church in Ft. Collins

Mondays, 6:00 - 9:00

January 15 - April 23, 2012

We are strong supporters of this important missions training course from the U.S. Center for World Mission, Denver Seminary and others. Graduates from our classes in Greeley have gone out to Bangladesh, Burma, Central Asia, and the Republic of Georgia, Philippines, Russia, Austria and numerous other places.

We live in a rapidly changing world. These changes affect the way the advancing World Christian Movement perceives its mandate and carries out its task. The 15-week course entitled "Perspectives on the World Christian Movement" is designed to analyze these trends and study them through an in-depth textbook and study manual, along with training, teaching and lectures by experienced missionaries, professors, and leaders in world evangelization.

Current issues such as Two Thirds World missions, reaching rapidly expanding cities, mission to the world's poor and destitute, the 10/40 Window, strategic partnership, church/mission tension, and many others, are woven into the discussion of the biblical, historical, strategic, and cross-cultural foundation of missions, improving and strengthening these basic themes.

"Perspectives" was founded at the U.S. Center for World Mission by Dr. Ralph Winter. The course has spread across the United States and other countries, and is used as a basis for training missionaries on the field by most major Mission organizations. Undergraduate or graduate college credit can be earned from the course. For information about "Perspectives" classes in your area, contact perspectives.org
