Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry meets on Sundays at 9:00 am, and then attends the Sunday Service together.   Darla & Gordon Pisciotti are the Chief Engineers. 

Young people also do fundraisers (especially during the Fall Car Show) to be able to experience things like camping trips and paintball wars together!  This year, after tithing and donating to Cup of Hope International, the group netted over $400 for their yearly events.

Bible study, Fellowship, Accountability, and Special Events make this a great time together that everyone looks forward to each week.  

2011 Summer activities included a Youth camping trip on the first weekend in August, at Red Feather Lakes.  

The Youth Group serves every 6 weeks as Coffee Bar hosts on Sunday mornings.

The Youth all "gave away the groom" at the wedding of their leaders, Darla and Gordon Pisciotti, at the Chapel in the Pines, Red Feather Village, on July 16, 2011.  It was awesome seeing them embrace their "new" leader, and walk him down the aisle to marry their long-time youth leader, Darla Mitchell.

On August 20, the Youth sponsored a TOY RUN to gather toys and supplies for needy families attending the North Range Behavioral Health Family Center.

In the afternoon of Sunday, August 21, most of the Youth Group stayed after church to work for 3 hours re-packing medical supplies to send to China, Liberia, Ethiopia, and Albania.  Pizza, ice cream and brownies were served afterward to all the faithful helpers.

At Thanksgiving, the Youth delivered over 20 turkeys to needy families.

And, at our Christmas Day Church Service, the youth group participated in a skit that they wrote and played their instruments to accompany the Children's Church special musical numbers.
